The Moon Gate is a sculptural staircase that reinterprets the classic element of Chinese architecture. I’ve transformed the traditional form of the Chinese 'Moon Gate' into something dynamic and modern. It serves not only as a horizontal threshold between the public and private spaces but also as a vertical threshold that opens up the views of its site
The Moon Gate also features a fountain curtain with slow-dropping water droplets, offering coolness and ambient sound. The laced metal cladding provides a surface for growing vegetation, seamlessly integrating the Moon Gate into the surrounding landscape.
